The dispute started over the seat that has been booked twice, leading to this infamous incident. According to a video shot by Alexandria Wright, the police were seen confronting an African American man on-board, and the person was escorted off the plane even as he complained rude behavior from the flight attendant. Five other black passengers tried to come to the rescue, but they were also kicked off the plane by authorities, leading to the charge of racial discrimination by black passengers on the plane. The statement released by the airline, however, gave a different viewpoint of the situation. It said that the black passengers who were ejected from the plane were behaving in an unruly manner and causing inconvenience to fellow passengers.
