Nepal faced yet another eventuality in the form of a landslide

In an unfortunate natural disaster, torrential rain in Nepal triggered a landslide, and as a result, three villages got buried, resulting in a heavy loss of life. According to the reports, 16 people have died while the other 30 have gone missing following this incident. Authorities rushed to the spot and admitted 18 injured people to the local hospitals in the rescue operations kick-started by the officials. Nepal had earlier witnessed one of the deadliest earthquakes in its history, in which a total of 8,800 people were killed. While the country is trying to overcome the ill effects of the earthquake, this recent landslide has further added to the woes of the Himalayan nation. Now the government needs to speed up their rescue efforts so that further loss of life and property can be minimized.
