Lucy Ford a Navy Midshipmen Receives Rhodes Scholarship

The Naval Academy hopes to continue the legacy by winning the 117th Army-Navy game for the 15th time consecutively. While the team is preparing for the same, one of the midshipmen has bagged a huge honor. Till now only 31 Americans have been honored with the Rhodes Scholarship this year. This is considered as the most prestigious honors in the world which enables the scholarship holders to pursue a master’s degree in England with all their related expenses being taken care of by the University. 

Lucy Ford is amongst the 32 candidates who have been honored this year. Ford has been making a remarkable achievement during her working years in the US Naval Academy and also reached the 5th battalion commander status. Achieving the Rhodes Scholarship was Ford’s childhood dream. She has also contributed to community service across Singapore, Rwanda. Ford wishes to continue serving the navy for the betterment of her country.
