Breathtaking Photos of 80,000 Budgies Forming a Tornado Go Viral

Photographs of 80,000 budgies hovering in the sky have gone viral. Paul Williams, a British photographer, and producer, and director at the BBC Natural History Unit was extremely happy to witness something like this. Williams says it was a treat to watch birds creating mesmerizing patterns in the sky.

Budgies are small and long-tailed parrots. Williams has been on a tour to capture the delightful view of the birds murmuring and forming breathtaking patterns over the water hole. Williams and his team watched this magnificent budgie tornado for seven days consecutively.

Williams said that he used Google Earth I and marked all small waterholes and gradually came across the small green feathers and droplets.
