Patrick van Dam, the art director for the Dutch edition of the globally popular Playboy magazine, had given a deep insight into the behind-the-scenes hard work of the creators. The ravishing and sultry pictures of the models embracing the pages of the magazine is a joint effort of all the people working on the project.
The eight years long career of Patrick with Playboy magazine was characterized by working with models in nude postures and sexy glimpses. He added that his team soon got used to working around the naked models creating some of the most eccentric pictures for the magazine.
The art director’s images were turned into a book, Playboy Behind the Scenes, which portrayed 150 erotic photos. The book was awarded Best Photo Book in ‘Communication Arts’ Photo Annual 2012 had an introduction by Hugh Hefner.
