Study Reveals The Importance Of Drinking Water

Water is certainly the most important part of our lives as it forms the base of all our vital body processes and functions. In our busy schedules, we more than often skip drinking water. A recent study revealed that 29% or less than one-third of Australians drink the right amount of water on a daily basis.

Thermos Australia conducted the study, and it gave some shocking inferences related to water drinking. It found that 80% of people who didn’t consume the required amount of water felt the impact on their bodies. Amongst these, 69% faced dehydration, 57% got headaches, and 44% felt exhaustion.

According to a study by the University of Barcelona, a mere one or two percent loss of body water restricts a person from doing the simplest of tasks efficiently involving attention and psychomotor skills. Lack of water also affects mood and makes a person less productive in all spheres.
