Princess Mary of Denmark and Queen Maxima visit the Hague, Netherlands
Crown Princess of Denmark Mary visits the International Court of Justice, Hague, in the Netherlands, where she was joined by Queen Maxima, the Dutch royal head. She adorned a fitted grey dress with a white pussy-bow collared blouse and a thick black band round the waist that flaunted her chic look. She visited the court and looked full of energy despite a tiring work schedule for the week and was warmly welcomed by her hosts. The day before, she had joined Queen Maxima at the third World Conference of Women’s Shelters. The queen also looked elegant in her charcoal pencil skirt and a bright top, having recovered from the kidney infection which she had suffered during her China tour. Being the keynote speaker, she addressed issues of domestic violence and acknowledged Princess Mary’s contribution through the Mary Foundation. The event also talked about promoting economic independence and other solutions against violence on women.
